Botanicals Day Spa opened in 2008. The owner, Liz May, has been a licensed massage therapist and
bodywork practitioner since 2004. A few years after graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage
Therapy, she decided to open her own business, Botanicals Day Spa.
Liz had a vision of providing excellent treatments in a comfortable atmosphere, and committed to only
using the finest, award-winning skin care lines, PCA Skin and Yon-Ka Paris.
After over two decades of leading the way in the clinical skin care industry, PCA Skin remains the
healthcare industry leader in the development of gentle, yet highly effective professional superficial peel
treatments and daily care products. The PCA Skin peels’ progressive approach leads to dramatic results
without unnecessary and unwanted trauma and little to no downtime (and without animal testing!).
With a holistic and personalized approach, and the use of many different botanicals (hence the name!),
100% paraben-free ingredients in most of the products, Yon-Ka relies on its founding values of quality,
safety, and proven effectiveness.

While we do accept most major credit cards, if at all possible, please pay with cash or check. Gratuities
are not included, they are earned, and may only be accepted as cash or check payable to the therapist.
While we greatly appreciate appointments being booked with Botanicals Day Spa, we ask that you kindly reframe from booking appointments for other guest(s), unless they are accompanying you to the spa as well. If you plan to book a “surpise” appointment or an appointment for someone who is arriving without you, we are going to ask for a pre-paid payment of 50% of the treatment cost when booking your guest. The payment will be non-refundable! This is enforced to benefit our massage therapists and guests as appointments are scheduled by appointment only! We appreciate your understanding as we are trying our best to accommodate all of our guests, and making sure we honor those clients that are committed to their appointments/our spa. Thank you!
